Taught elementary math and had 85%-90% homework compliance. Why did so many do their homework? There was a 3 problem quiz everyday before the lesson started. I told my students I needed to know if they learned what I had done a good job teaching yesterday’s lesson or if I needed to go over it another way before we moved on.
