I have a theory regarding gen z men leaning more conservative. They grew up in a time where the country was making a lot of forward progress in regards to rights for LGBTQ and women. They did not experience the time before that, so their only objective experience in the world is that gays and women are constantly "shoving pride in their face". It was not long before gen z was born that gay folks couldn't get married, subject to hate crimes and harassment, not represented positively in media. 1/4

In the case of gen z men, their male topic content quickly turns into right wing propoganda. Stuff that you had to actively seek out on 4chan and stormfront before is now being fed to them like its sportscenter. Millenials and more media savy generations understand that we can control what we consume and can choose. This is all gen z knows.

He’s very liberal, voted for Harris. He says that he gets them even when he looks up stuff by Neil deGrasse Tyson (he’s a big fan of his). They are trying to create a new generation of toxic masculinity. We have to call it out and stop it. We won’t go back.
