So I received great news today about the advancement of my dissertation & I don’t even have the energy to celebrate this milestone. My 2nd reader loved my chapters, had minor edit suggestions & schedule my oral proposal in 2 weeks. I waited so long to be at this point & I feel like shit celebrating knowing that so many of my community members are living in fear with what may come in 2025 that impacts their family & their livelihood.
