Right there with you - been called a communist and just like the Red Guard numerous times by my own mother recently and since Trump came on the scene because of my opposition. A reductive and simplistic accusation from people who cannot differentiate between surface labels (left/right) vs. blind loyalty to a leader/cause which regardless of political persuasion has led to horrific things like the Chinese Red Guard and Hitler’s Brown Shirts. Are humans doomed to repeat history?
