I learned grace through my parents who knew how to apologize. Though I know they had to learn that because it wasn’t normal to their generation. With my son now, I teach him to apologize by showing how it’s done. By doing this, I hope my son will realize that we, his parents aren’t perfect, that we’re just humans trying our best. Children will grow up and eventually figure you out as a person not just as a parent. Make sure they like or at least respect the person that you are.
