Considering the switch to the new MacBook Pro with the M4 chip. My current 16” MacBook Pro with M1 Pro still holds up in terms of power,no complaints there! But I keep hitting the 16GB RAM limit, and the upgrade to even 24gb would definitely make a difference. Would you upgrade? What machine are you using now? 💻macbookpro

I have a 14” MBP M1 Pro with 16 GB most of the time running on 8-15GB of swap memory (multiple browser tabs, dev apps, Notion, etc.). 512GB hard drive, I don’t notice any differenfe even if I’m usually using almos 32GB of memory everyday apparently
