If you’re drawing for the approval of others, good luck! It could be that’s a moving target you’ll never hit.., I draw for myself and always have for many many years.

Stop crying we are all in the same vote as artists, no one values it. Create what you want for yourselfand develop a mental hardness. It sounds harsh but that's the reality unless you want paint animals, scenery and boring stuff everyone wants to see

Instagram and FB don’t even serve content to the majority of our followers. The algorithm is messed up. I sometimes only get one or two likes on my posts but I can’t imagine my life without art. It does get embarrassing when my dad wants to brag about me to his friends and then he shows my less than best pieces because those are his favorites 🤣 He has my stuff all over the walls at his office and it’s work from when I was like 12 or 13
