This is the problem! Please, stop! By not teaching your kids that elections are based on differing opinions and allowing them to participate in that process without bias against others you are depriving our future generations with the ability to think critically and evaluate for themselves. So now they learn that - the other side lost, we have to be fearful and bury our heads in the sand for four years? No! They should look to you for example - if you don’t like it, get even more involved!
