As someone who has lived in PA for 18yrs, my love/hate relationship with Allentown runs deep, but I have to say that being a blue island in a sea of red is a nice reminder that even though we tend to be the ass pimple of Philly, we aren’t the “under-the-skin-and-very-painful” type. Just a slight annoyance. Yay us!
