I’ve always put it down to being critical people. Not only of our own work and others work but also ourselves. Our actions and how others view us. We’re overthinkers. We strive for the best. We put our heart and soul into our work and that can often be super draining and exhausting. Art is subjective but good art can speak to people in ways no other medium can. It’s powerful. It can inspire generations, young and old. We’ve got to project our creatives and stop devaluing and undermining art.
