2 nights were the longest we left our 2 cats home alone. We have cctv to see them, AC on, lights on, we also provided 3 full bowls of dry food and 2 full water fountain. We also have 4 litter trays. If you will be out longer than 2 days, I suggest to send them to a pet boarding or let a pet sitter stay with them in your home.

Cats for 1-3 days can be alone but a human visitor if possible once a day. Dogs either boarded or with friends/family. If you can get someone to stay at your place that’s the best for the animal.

They move into your home and should take care of everything for you. Reduces risk of break in and has someone keeping an eye on things. Bringing in the mail..etc. We used to belong. Only look at 5 star sitters.
