According to Bassem Youssef the “adequate” response to chanting racist slogans at a football game, attacking a cab driver (allegedly), and tearing down a Palestinian flag is a full scale pogrom. I wonder what his idea of an adequate response would be to, let’s say, a massacre where over 1200 people were murdered and more than 250 taken hostage? Because according to his logic of proportionality Gaza should have been nuked 10 times by now.
