First was midwife and a 24 hour stay. Second was a midwife, private room for 24 hours and a 4 day nicu stay. All we paid for was parking

Uhhhhh like $90,000+ 🫠🫠🫠🫠 insurance kicked in but it took 6 months plus for them to ‘accept’ what they said they would. Turned into $15,000k-ish

I was lucky and had incredible insurance for both of my kids. The entire pregnancy, delivery (2 c sections), and hospital stay for us was $10 per kid. Ten. I had 1 copay per kid from the first appointment to leaving the hospital. Edit to add: in the US.

I'm in the US and expecting my first. The bill for the birthing center assuming everything goes well will be just under $4k with insurance. However, they also require first time mom's to have a doula so that's another $1600 out of pocket.

Mine was 32,000 I paid 300 for the hospital. Paid 6,000 to the obgyn. Not sure about my baby’s stay yet
