I did this in 2015. Don't do it. The people of Wyoming think an awful lot of themselves, but they are very cruel and not welcoming at all. I regret very little in my life, but my biggest regret is moving to Wyoming.

I lived in Gillette for 2 years back in the 80s.. It's a tough life if don't have money & aren't into long cold windy winters. Very Rural, the cost of living is low if you don't do anything, long drives to go anywhere, even the closest 30K town. Jackson Hole, the most scenic part is one of the most expensive places to live in the US. The largest 2 cities Casper & Cheyenne population 60K each the wind blows non stop all year long. Ranchers with both oil & cattle rule the state.
