I taught my six-year-old grandson how to call emergency services on my cell phone just in case I were to ever have a seizure if he is alone with me. His parents are separated and I live with his dad, my son. Today he told me sadly that his mom told him never to touch those buttons, even if I fell down and needed help. He told me she said she barely cares about me. I’ve been so careful never to say anything negative about this woman around her son. Ever. Children. Are. Not. Weapons.
