reader I cannot express this enough- I could not care LESS who or what a store supports or who it does not support. When I am out shopping I am shopping as a consumer. When I am walking through the aisles of Christmas decor or laundry soaps, or thinking about my iced caffeinated bevvy of choice, I am not wondering whether or not the company’s owner aligns with me morally politically or religiously. I am there to buy what I need, what I want, and what I like. That is all.

Does it make sense that a gay person would not want to shop at a store that donates to anti-LGBTQ organizations? Your ability to only consider things like groceries etc may be because of the identities you hold and the way society perceives them?
