Being single and living alone is quite often lonely. Especially on Sunday evening when you're contemplating the start of a new week, that's when I feel it most intensely anyway. And then you feel obliged to get back on those dating apps and feed the algorithm, and you where would you meet anyone organically in the old fashioned way? Long term loneliness (for me stemming from just before the pandemic) is endemic in society these days it seems. It's a lot for sure.
