I've learned from months of meditation that "wishing" doesn't matter in the slightest. I tried to bring many minds together in a nightly meditation for democracy. Obviously it didn't work. Now I wish every day that Trump will cease to exist ... he's still here. It's hard to let go of our superstitious selves. Which is why so many of us pray, I think. It's tempting to ask God for divine intervention, but then you'd have to believe. I don't.
