It was beyond painful leaving at the time, but that pain pales into comparison to the toxic and spiritually abusive posturing of my former church that chipped away at my self-worth, dignity, and sanity. If this is you, beloved, I don’t know your reason for staying, but I hope you find solace in some way. And should you choose to leave I know how difficult that is, but I for one can attest to the fact that God remains near and you will be more than okay. 🙏🏾 4/5
