How can someone who’s studying medicine and science say that the life in the womb is not a human nor even alive? It’s quite sad and even wild that our further doctors and nurses believe such nonsense. We shouldn’t have to explain that the life in the womb is a human. It’s basic biology and science. We shouldn’t have to explain that the life in the womb is also alive. If it’s not alive, it’s dead. Something dead does not grow. It’s really basic. ProLife

I think people who are debating prochoice sometimes get frustrated and make poor arguments like this in a desperate attempt to get people to understand. A human fetus in indeed human and also alive, but it's not "viable" until over halfway into the pregnancy, which by then is where elective abortions have already ceased to legal and only rare late term abortions are done in extreme life-threatening medical situations.(1)
