I was one of those who liked a new car every 3-5 years. Never lease more than 3 Years and you can choose the mileage you want depending on my life at the time, I might do 12k or 15k miles. The first 3 years a car only needs scheduled maintenance and it’s under warranty so if something is really wrong it’s not coming out of my pockets. I only lease European cars Range Rover, Benz, bmw. I think people that buy these cars are crazy. I still lease, but I do now own a 2021 Lexus ES350.

Leasing is a good option for a lot of people. If you want a new car every 36-46 MK fhs, do it. Also, cars don’t hold value so 🤷🏽‍♀️

Depends on a person's lifestyle what works for them. I've purchased new and used vehicles throughout my life. Will never buy a brand new again, not worth it. People mistakenly think that a vehicle is an asset, depreciation hits as soon as you sign. Now, I look for cars with extremely low miles in good mechanical order. I tend to change up maybe every 5-6 yrs. If folks have the $, good for them. Neither is wrong.

You’re either paying on the front end or the back end. The only difference is how long one can hold on to their car after it’s been paid off. Unfortunately someone can total your car, at no fault of yours, 2 weeks after it’s been paid off. Car probably could have lasted 10 more years otherwise, but now you’re forced back into a car note against your will 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’ve leased, bought cash used, financed new and financed used. Each happened at different points in my life and with different financial reasons. Each is valid.

She's basically renting a car monthly. That's it, that's all!

If she uses low mileage.. its worth just to lease, since you dont have to deal with old car’s maintenance and repair cost. You can total do 3 years with few maintenace and get away with factory warranty on most parts before it breaks down. Cars build now always breaks down when the warranty just expires, so the parts/labor cost is outrages.
