Today, I did a thing and confidently made the decision to buy a new to me car! The best part was not coming home to disapproval, anyone questioning my choice or belittling my decision-making with comments like, "Good thing you're pretty." Now, I can finally scrap the crap he forced me into, and I can sleep peacefully knowing I’m safe, secure, and standing on my own. I won’t be sharing any pictures for now, but I’m thrilled to celebrate closing another part of that chapter.
