I was born in the Caribbean, the twin nation island of Antigua and Barbuda 🇦🇬 and lived there until I was 7 I was raised in NYC the South Bronx to be exact and I am the product of the public education system , city’s public university system. My BA is in Black Studies. The starkest difference I’ve realized is that blacks living in America generally lack community and when I say community I don’t mean proximity. Living near to each other is not equivalent to being together and togetherness.
