There are many cowards in our community who have been waiting for any excuse to vent their prejudice towards trans people, all because they never got over being disappointments to their own shitty fathers. It’s shameful. capitulating to anti-trans Rhetoric is not the solution. Addressing it, combatting it & correcting it is the solution. But this will require cis gay people actually having the difficult conversations with their friends and family members, rather than shying away from it.
