If you’re shocked that Texas is still warm this time of year, you DON’T know Texas. Winter starts in mid December. Let’s rest this argument please.

Fellow Texan here..this is not normal. There have been no cool fronts. Halloween is usually cold and it was not this year

You clearly don't know Texas because it USED to get colder starting at the end of October or early November but that stopped being common after 2002. Now we just get one or two days during the "winter" where everything freezes and the power grid fails.

You must not have been BORN in Texas cause this weather is abnormal. I can tell someone didn’t grow up in Texas their whole life based on remarks like these.

As a native Texan… we are having far more significantly warmer days than cool ones that we typically get at this time of year. It used to be mid football season you’d be experiencing cold rains etc. https://www.expressnews.com/san-antonio-weather/article/hottest-october-ever-november-outlook-south-texas-19874220.php

It's an El Nino year...this is absolutely normal and happens every few years....I'm a born and raised nearly 50 year old 7th generation Texan....I've seen 80 degree Christmas and I've seen a foot of snow in may....here in the panhandle it's nothing new...

Native Texans know winter doesn't really start until January. And then there's that one week in February where we all freeze.
