I was taught by a young U.S. Marine that you don't just say "thank you for your service" to our service members, but do it with action. So many of our veterans are still struggling to access mental health, housing, and comprehensive health care. Today, thank them by pushing our country to keep their promise to take care of them when they come home.

Do your 4 years get your degrees and leave, the pension isn't that much anyway. For the spouses like me of an active duty, get your degrees and make it possible for them to always have the opportunity to leave, so they don't feel stuck. Remind them that it's just a job. The military was there before them, and it will still be there after them. Stay strong.
