Okay, I have a witchy question! How do you feel about ppl sharing pics of their altars on social media? How do you feel when you're looking in on the details? No wrong answers! Just genuinely curious. I've always felt that altars are portals, liminal space that we create for the other side to flow in. Altars have always felt very intimate to me. I read someone say that if you show your altar, you should change parts of it afterwards, so that it is energetically different than the image you 1/2

一小時內	Jessica Nayowith nayowith_jess	I feel mixed about this too. I share parts of 1 of my altars. The one that is visible to anyone who comes into my home. So I feel like that makes sense to share. My private one, I might show a tiny glimpse of if I share a spell I'm working. But when I see full working altars posted I def get that feeling like I'm intruding a little.

5 小時內	Liv oliviakastle	I never thought about it like that, and I just shared a picture of mine on a couple threads. 😅 But, I think I still feel comfortable with it. My altar is my safest space, meant to communicate with powerful beings (the Goddess, God, the Higher Self, Angels, Guides, etc.), so I believe that's not a space that someone can penetrate without true invitation. And since our beliefs empower what we do, and I don't consider a photo of my space as an invitation to be IN my space, I feel okay with it.
