Looking like I’ve got a 24 hour layover in Auckland, due to an Air New Zealand schedule change. Does anyone have recommendations on what to do for a day there? Looking for great photo spots and excellent food. 📸🍔 Feels like an Anthony Bourdain episode. Auckland New Zealand

3 小時內	Andrew Tsang ackt1975	Excellent and good value for money restaurants or cafes are everywhere in Auckland. Use Google maps as your dinning guide. Use Uber to transport within the Auckland area.
3 小時內	Andrew Tsang ackt1975	Auckland CBD may not be the best place for tourists except the waterfront (including Wynyard Quarter, Viaduct Harbour and Silo Park). Town Centres, Main Street and newly redeveloped shopping mall at city fringe suburbs probably more worthwhile and safer to browse. That includes Ponsonby, Parnell, Newmarket, Balmoral/Dominion Road and Mt Eden.

6 小時內	June Bartlett bartlettjune	To spend 24 hours in Auckland I'd suggest SkyTower for a view of the greater Auckkand area, then ferry to Waiheke. Vineyards, bus out to Onetangi Beach for a stroll, lunch at Charley Farleys or one of the Vineyards.... back in the city maybe Wynyard Quarter or thereabouts.
