I mean I hear ya. On the flip side I’ve seen people in the industry getting on the session engineer for not cleaning the vocals as they go, breaths included. I mean I guess they can always be intentionally put back in lol but sometimes it’s very intentional to have things cut certain ways. especially in mainstream pop and rnb and if you comp vocals.
