The 3-year-old is currently obsessed with the human body, and so she's started using more scientific terms for certain body parts, leading to sentences such as:
"Oh. My spine!" = falling over
"My brain is hurting me" = a headache
"My lungs did not like that" = inhaling smoke
"Something's tickling my oesophagus" = coughing
"The pain is small, so it's the small intestine" = a tummy ache
"My neurons are happy (through laughter)" = being tickled
