I LARP. I seriously tell myself: “honey, it’s our new character - a friendly crafty faire wench, she smiles and tells jokes and even likes kids”. And it surprisingly works. Because if “she” does or says something weird - it’s on “her” I know it sounds ridiculous, but it really helped me.
