A question for Yorkshire men and women. My Yorkshireman character wishes to say that southerners are feeble and less tolerant of the cold. Would he describe them as ‘nesh’? Is that a yorkshire term? WriterThreads

It’s definitely a Derbyshire saying and we’re only just over the border.

'Nesh', is a general yorkshire term for those who feel cold no matter how warm it is. Not just for the weak and feeble. You can also refer to yourself as "feeling a bit nesh".
