Not that it matters now, but my mother’s absentee ballot was rejected due to NC’s voter ID law. An 87 yr old woman who survived Jim Crow and has not missed a presidential election since JFK was disenfranchised because of a law that is supposed to uphold the sanctity of our electoral process. It is a disgrace. Also hurtful since she was discharged from the hospital on Election Day and we had to scramble to get her ballot to the Bd of Elections in time. Voting Threads
