Believe it or not but I read hundreds of Micky Mouse magazines when I came to live in the Netherlands...it helped a lot! 😅

If you can watch them on Netflix.nl: there are some very good Belgian (Flemish) movies and series on Netflix. The accent is slightly different but usually if you choose to watch with Dutch subtitles it gives you the standard Dutch vocabulary and grammar. So it might work. (Just a screenshot of my Netflix page when I search for Belgian movies/series. Not necessarily my top tips.)
