Depends on your budget, if you just want to put photos onto Instagram and Facebook, phone works too a point. But if you want more control, more detail, more variations on type of nature - landscape telescopic macro etc. then get a camera. And if you just want to post online a good cheap camera will work however lens is what will set you back so whatever your budget is will dictate that.
