I am sure you know this but the double space is from typesetting and typewriter days and was needed for proper spacing. Modern computers automatically kern the type for proper spacing. I think it looks weird to have double spaces. I am a relatively new convert to the Oxford comma after I read about a lawsuit over a missing comma. I worked in HR at the time so it caught my attention. I now try to use it as much as possible. But, I must admit it doesn't always come naturally. Welcome to Threads
