I know economics is hard but try to understand just the basics. A manufacturer totals up the cost of manufacture. They add a small profit and sell the product to a distributor. The distibutor adds up the cost of purchase, transportation, export taxes, import taxes (tariffs) adds a profit and sells it to a retailer. Enter YOU, the consumer. YOU pay for it all and a small profit for the retailer. Get it! YOU pay for tariffs. NOT the exporter!!
