At the time it came out I had no place to discuss it and not to be a hater but did anyone else hate House of Flame and Shadow? Like enough time has passed for me to say it was bad. It felt rushed (probably cause it was and she ditched the originally manuscript) I went from HOEAB being one my my favorite SJM books to HOFAS being one of my least favorite SJM books 🫠

13 小時內	Amber Bill amberutan	Yes and tbh it was pretty devastating for me because I LOVE CC1 & 2. Bryce felt so out of character, like she was trying to be secretive and aloof Aelin (whom she is NOT). The crossover was honestly terrible. I didn’t expect the majority of it to be her traipsing through tunnels forever with only two other characters. I know it’s fantasy but the ending just felt so rushed, it was all so rushed. I had ridiculously high hopes for it and was so let down 😭 It definitely should’ve been 2 more books..
