Want to know what I honestly love about being a therapist? Witnessing people soften and get to know themselves. That is sacred stuff. It’s vulnerable, honest, and it takes time. It can take months or even years for someone to finally feel safe enough to be seen, to be witnessed without a defense and then start doing that more consistently, more often, more naturally. It’s beautiful. People are beautiful.
