More than 10 years ago, my Japanese husband and I started our life together. We had nothing, he just graduated from his Masters in the UK and I was applying to be a Nurse in Canada while teaching English online to make ends meet. We decided to start our life in Tokyo as he got a job in one of the most prestigious Public Law Firm in Tokyo.
