The other night, I, a wheelchair user, was out when a gentleman sitting nearby asked, “Do you mind if I ask what happened to you?” I looked him straight in the eye and said, “Well, you know how they say it was so good you couldn’t walk afterward?” Judging by his reaction, I don’t think he found it quite as funny as I did.
