I remember this girl tried to get me fired from a job once by saying I made racist comments and called her a N***** …and as some of you may know… I AM MIXED. My mother is a Black woman. The ONLY FAMILY I KNOW is the Black side of my family. My child’s father is a Black man and my child is Black. Truth be told, I identify more as a Black woman than I do as a White woman. However, I respect the FACT that there is an inherent privilege that comes with my physical appearance.
