It's a cutesy name given to a serious condition. Autism isn't just being quirky and liking chicken nuggets. It can be a daily struggle. Self diagnosis is valid but I feel like more and more people label themselves autistic without knowing what it is to be autistic.

16 小時內	jo hwaberry.stars	My 16 year old was finally diagnosed as autistic last year after a 10 year battle. I knew from the age of 2 she either had autism or adhd (or both) as she was very different from the other kids in nursery. I was ignored by her teachers, told she ‘is too smart’ but finally got there in the end. I see her daily struggles, all the masking she did and now seeing her struggles to unmask. So yeah, a lot more than quirky and chicken nuggets like you say!
