DUDES. Women do NOT owe you the benefit of the doubt. If a woman expresses a negative sentiment about men, resist the urge to get defensive. Defensiveness makes it about your feelings instead of about hers, which only further proves her point. If you don't like how she's expressing her feelings, do us all a favor: say nothing and move on. ffs.

However — this reeks of you being a “pick me.” I’m suspicious of men who speak like they’re experts on women, and drop performative blanket statements like some all knowing sage of male/female communication. This is a nuanced topic. Not every criticism women have of men should go blindly unchecked. Men deserve advocacy too.
