I wouldn't call it a mistake. She went in with clean intentions. Then man she helped went in seeking help. For that moment they were in the right place. I don't like organized religion much, myself, but individual people who follow the teachings of kindness to all are okay by me, whatever their label or lack of a label is.

Not always. My mum (recently deceased) had a lifetime of such loving acts, to which many people testified at her funeral. Every organisation is full of fallible, flawed people but most of them try to live by what they profess.
