Echoing what I saw Rick Riordan share: I didn’t realize the middle grade category for the Goodreads Choice Awards had been removed! In my career, I haven’t really had a book that I’d expect to be nominated. Last Dragon was the first book I thought might make it for consideration. Definitely a shame to see that category removed. Our middle grade readers have a voice too!
