Because of the continuing daily, often intensive, missile fire into Israel by Hezbollah in Lebanon, the IDF ground troops and armored vehicles have been forces to extend their reach in Lebanon to 10km on order to eradicate the Hezbollah terror units and their explosive stockpiles and rocket launchers.
