I've never liked photos of myself, for...well...reasons. But this one is the first one in a long time that I look at and (mostly) see *me*. This is transgender awareness week. I kicked it off today at work by participating in a panel discussion about allyship and visibility and journeys. I was nervous as hell but I'm told I spoke well, and portrayed confidence and was engaging, and people appreciated my authenticity. I'm here. I see you here too. <3
