Today, I had two doctor’s appointments. The first was with my urogynecologist because the ONLY FDA approved drug for my disease, Interstitial Cystitis, was no longer going to be covered by insurance come January 1st. The second was with my neurologist, because after trying EVERYTHING for migraines, I learned that the botox my doctor wanted to attempt next would also not be covered by insurance, and I would have to pay out of pocket.
