Kindles are great for people who have vision issues and can't read fine print! Not all, or even that many, books come in large print.

I use the libby app and get free library books which I can load onto my kindle 😄

I lived abroad for several years. I didn’t have a kindle for my first expat adventure and I missed my books so much. The second time I moved abroad I had a kindle-an entire library in one small device. I buy physical books and kindle books. I bring my kindle everywhere and don’t have to haul a big bag of books. I can read at night without waking anyone up with a light. I can read while walking on the treadmill. I buy most of my kindle books on sale and also use the e-library.
